General Delivery Information

All delivery charges are inclusive of VAT.

For orders containing multiple items, only one shipping fee will be charge per order.

Most items are available to be collected from our stores in Southport, Ormskirk, Chorley and Thornton, however we do require 48 hours notice.

We use the following couriers to deliver the best service and price, these include Royal Mail, APC and Sovereign.

Where does the AMS Plumbing deliver?

Delivery is restricted to England, Scotland, and Wales. Some postcodes maybe have extra charges depending upon the area. Please see full terms.

How quickly can I expect my delivery?

We will endeavor to deliver most products within 7 working days unless specified, some products may take longer due to unforeseen supplier/manufacturer issues, all delivery dates are given as an estimated and realistic lead time.

Our delivery hours are Monday-Friday 8am-6pm, excluding UK Bank Holidays. Although we endeavor to deliver the majority of orders within the delivery times stated, these times are a guideline only, and are not guaranteed. It should be noted that delivery in some cases may exceed 28 days, including special order/bespoke items, notice will be given at point of order.

How will you know when your goods will arrive?

You will receive an email conformation acknowledging the order placed, we will notify you within 24 hours (except weekends/ bank holidays) with a delivery date, we cannot unfortunately give a guide of AM or PM.

Large/Fragile/Palletised Deliveries

Palletised deliveries will be delivered as close to your front door as possible, if the location is unreachable due to location or any other obstruction (apartment block or narrow streets) delivery will be made as near to the delivery address as possible. the driver is NOT insured to take products inside the property, the delivery will be made as close to the front door as possible. For palletised deliveries, we advise a minimum of 2 able bodied persons to accept the delivery and carry the goods inside.

Remote Areas

In the event that you reside in an area that is considered to be a ‘remote area’ by our couriers you may incur additional delivery charges. If you are unsure if you reside in a remote area, please contact customer services on 01704 500 360.

Pallet Delivery

For larger items or higher monetary orders a pallet delivery service is required. The standard pallet service time scale is an estimated 3-7 days, or can be requested as next day in mainland UK only. When your order is processed a member of our customer service team or our dedicated pallet courier will contact you to arrange a convenient date for delivery. Please contact us for details about pallet delivery in remote areas.

International Orders

If you are located outside of the United Kingdom and are interested in our products please email to receive a quote on the shipping cost to your country. We can’t guarantee to be able to ship all items advertised on the site. Please note we are not responsible for any postage cost if the item is found to be faulty or damaged.
